Victim Advocate

This is a volunteer, front line role with the BVVSA, providing direct services to victims of crime and trauma. You will work directly with victims, police and other community agencies. As an advocate you will be required to completed an extensive training program; obtain an enhanced security clearance from the RCMP; successfully complete interviews with program staff and the RCMP; and complete an Alberta government on-line course.

An extensive training program is provided to enhance your skills for this important and satisfying role.
